The Dining Room

The room where a family meets, gathers over a meal, shares stories about the past and imagines the future.  How you fill it can shape the way people feel when they are in it. Make it too uniform, too tidy – people will feel uptight. Make it too slouchy – people will question the cleanliness of the food they are consuming. It must be like the porridge, just right.

Painted by my grandmoo, I let this pretty little painting set the tone for the room. Going off of the colors of green that make it come to life.

It took me awhile, but I found the perfect place settings. Thanks to World Market (currently 30% off – 9/14/2017) links to items below.

I found this fun piece of bed spring for around $10 and re-purposed it with some fun little air plants I found here.
